The Psychosocial Rehabilitative Program is a treatment approach designed to help improve the lives of those who have mental illness and assist them with person-centered treatment to help them manage symptoms and improve functioning. Psychosocial rehabilitation aims to teach emotional, cognitive, and social skills that help those diagnosed with mental illness live and work in their communities as independently as possible. The services provided by the case managers are psychosocial rehab, skills training, medication training, case management, supportive housing, supportive employment, and crisis intervention. The emphasis is to help people with mental health conditions live as independently as possible and to become fully integrated into the communities in which they live by personalizing the treatment to their needs and strengths.
